Section Two: Reasons for choosing this project
Reasons for choosing the project (eg, links to other subjects you are studying, personal interest, future plans, knowledge/skills you want to improve, why the topic is important):   In sixth Form at William Howard I am studying Health and Social Care BTEC, Sport BTEC and English Language A level. Doing a dissertation will help me to learn more time-management, planning and writing skills   At GCSE I took Geography which was a big struggle for me and I was unable to achieve the GCSE, so by doing a dissertation on a Geographical aspect I will gain extra knowledge that I maybe struggled to understand when trying to equally balance my 7 subjects. Doing it on a fashion aspect makes me want to explore deep into this as only recently I have become more fashionable and have realised how much I’m interested in it.   In the future I would like a job where I can provide a high amount of income for my family. After sitting 2 years of sixth form and achieving the grades that I want, I am slightly unsure about what It is that I want to do next. I am sure that I do not want to do more than a year course at university, and would like to take a year to travel which would mean I would be able to explore and discover all different cultures which links in to things like how they dress which would link into this presentation.
